I absolutely adored the charming and cozy decor of Toadstools. The beautiful lighting and comfortable furniture created a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a senior like me. The hotel's general areas were well-maintained and easy to navigate, making it accessible for older guests like myself. It was a delight to explore the garden and take in the peaceful surroundings. The hotel truly catered to the needs of senior people and made me feel right at home.
I would have loved to have a dedicated staff member available to assist senior guests. Just a friendly face to help with any special requests or offer guidance on local activities.

The location of this accommodation is very convenient, with easy access to major towns and ports in West Cornwall. The cottage itself is clean and well-maintained, with a separate kitchen that is fully equipped for cooking. The hosts are welcoming and provide thoughtful touches such as biscuits, tea, and coffee. The wood burning fireplace adds a cozy atmosphere, especially during the winter evenings.
The property is not well signposted from the road, making it a bit challenging to find, particularly in bad weather or during the night.
